Winging it with Mellie’s Art

Ever wanted to know what the world looks like from the point of view of our feathered friends? Find out as Mellie’s Art interviews a different bird in their natural environment. Each bird delivers facts about itself with a touch of humour. Sometimes, the interviews are interrupted by other animals and people who also want a taste of the limelight.

Episode 1. Bluey the Budgie

Mellie visits a friend and interviews their pet budgies  Bluey and Splodge.

Episode 2. Kookie the Kookaburra and Kingston the Kingfisher

Mellie visits Lane Pool and meets a friendly Kookaburra and her northerner cousin Kingston the Kookaburra.

Episode 3. Lorrie the Rainbow Lorikeet

We meet a Rainbow Lorikeet who has recently taken up residence in the backyard.

 Episode 4. Steven Seagull

Mellie uses chips as bribery to interview a seagull.

Episode 5. Little Penguin

On a trip to Penguin Island, Mellie meets a shy Fairy Penguin.

Episode 6. Swan

Mellie interviews Mystro the Swan who talks about the challenges of parenting and being boss of the lake.

Episode 7. Willy the Willy Wagtail

Today we meet Mrs Willy Wagtail who is nervous about protecting her two nests.

Episode 8. Lord Peacock

Mellie interviews a very vain Peacock.

Episode 9. Ms Crow

We go to Kings Park to meet Mrs Crow who talks about keeping food on the table for her young family.
