Animate Lancelin!

2022 – 2023

More than meets the eye.

Throughout 2022 Artist Neil Elliott worked with participants from the Wheatbelt’s Central Coast as part of a residency at DADAA Lancelin. Starting with a collection of discarded metal and timber bits and bobs: rusty pressed ceiling tin, machine cogs, wire netting, bolts and screws; they used assemblage to create collaborative artworks inspired by life in Lancelin. The artists then breathed life into the artworks using animation and a digital app, which can be seen using your phone or tablet.

This project continues DADAA’s commitment to improving digital literacy and inclusion for people with disability and to introduce opportunities for self-expression and creativity through digital technology.

Artists: Jeremy Scobie, Rebecca Redshaw, Anthony Lapichino, Jakob Enright, Melissa Cook, Marion Parker, and Cherie Lamb
