The City of Armadale is holding its annual Carols by Candlelight event on Sunday 12 December 2021, 6.30pm to 8pm in Memorial Park Armadale. We are once again proud to present the DADAA Accessible Viewing Area where spaces can be reserved where people living with disability can enjoy the carols with their families and friends. This a free ticketed event, and tickets are essential.

DADAA Accessible Viewing Area – bookings essential via Eventbrite
People of all ages and all abilities are welcome to join in the festivities in Perth’s most accessible carols event.

The following services will be available for those who book them:
-Additional ACROD parking
-Service dog area – This area is for your service dog to get a drink of water and go to the toilet
-Tables and chairs – For those who require seating
-Songbooks in Braille – Braille is a reading and writing system for blind and vision impaired people
-Braille songbooks have to be ordered by Monday 6 December 5pm, these can be done by contacting the Events Team at events@armadale.wa.gov.au or 9394 5000
-Auslan interpreter – The interpreter will be on stage for the duration of the Carols program.
-Audio description – Audio description is for people who are blind or vision impaired. It provides live verbal descriptions of actions, costumes, scenery and other visual elements of the performance between gaps in the dialogue on stage
-Bluetooth assistive listening – Assistive listening systems provide hearing augmentation and amplification directly to your device e.g. hearing aids

Additionally if you or your clients would prefer to watch it from the comfort of your lounge room or a local community space then consider making a night of it by inviting friends and family to join you by hosting a streaming party your place. Details for the livestream will be provided closer to the event date.
