about this  workshop

Drawing on personal experiences and universal desires as a driving theme, participants in the Youth Performance works towards the development of a number of short ensemble performance works. Participants will pair with local professional practitioners as mentors and collaborators in the creation of new works for public presentation. Artists can also focus on sound-based performance if they have an interest in music.

This program is suitable for emerging artists between the ages of 16 and 25 and no previous formal experience of drama, acting or the arts is required. The warm and welcoming environment of DADAA makes this workshop the perfect opportunity to try performance for the first time, or continue to build your skills if you have prior experience.

Workshops take place in the Big Hall in the heritage-listed Old Fremantle Boys’ School.

Venue: DADAA Fremantle
