about this workshop

On Track is term-based dance, movement and performance group activity for youth and adults with all abilities, offered in two locations: Midland and Lancelin.

Workshops are designed for participants to learn new skills and explore a range of performance styles. Led by professional dance artists with a proven passion and commitment for working inclusively, these technique classes explore movement, improvisation, contrasting rhythms and momentum. More than anything, this programs nurtures the joy of movement and values what each individual participant has to bring and how they express themselves.

On Track in Midland frequently collaborates with the music program, The Definitive. This provides performers with the opportunity to also sing, compose and learn musical instruments. This cross-over extends arts and cultural opportunities for participants and explores the inextricable relationship between movement and music.

Participants in On Track are diverse and talented, and we look forward to their continued development as artists. We welcome new artists who would like to join On Track.

Classes are suitable for people of all abilities and no previous experience is required.
