Children and Young Adults

Supported by the Disability Services Commission and Healthway, the Act-Belong-Commit Artlink program provides school-aged children with disability and their siblings with an opportunity to explore experimental arts, cultural development, social knowledge and arts learning. The program also serves as a respite service for parents.

All programs provide a wide variety of arts activities and creativity in a supportive environment with specialist arts and support workers. The program aims to empower children by teaching new skills, enhancing self esteem and encouraging social engagement and friendships by providing fun, educational and inclusive activities. Art mediums include theatre, dance, sculpture, printmaking, animation, music, visual art, photography and puppetry.

DADAA offers targeted arts and cultural programs that include a broad range of traditional and new media projects in almost 50 Western Australian communities.
