The Big Book | exhibition opening and workshop

The Big Book is an exhibition celebrating three years of community storytelling through printmaking, textiles, and photographic etchings — showcasing the shared stories and creative journeys of participants in the Ink and Thread project.

Ink and Thread was a three-year participatory printmaking project linking communities across the Wheatbelt — from the coast to inland townships, from Carnamah and Mullewa to the communities in between. The project has fostered connection, creativity, and mental health through shared making and storytelling.

The exhibition also marks the launch of a limited-edition artist book, bringing together works and stories from across the project.

Following the opening, stay on for a free community printmaking workshop and explore some of the techniques that have inspired so many throughout the Ink and Thread journey.

This project is a partnership between DADAA and North Midlands Project, supported by Healthway.
