Everything is vibrating energy moving in empty space, colours of different frequencies reflect light in the deep darkness balancing each other.
Rainbow colours have no fragrance but you can smell the rain that aeated it.
Present moments shope shift endlessly like liquid water with wind and gravity. Shimmering starlight moves and drizzles in the atmosphere.
The beauty all around us, fuses through our eyes. Causing brain triggering electrical impulses. – Esa Nykanen

 

About the artist:

Esa Nykanen, Born 1968 in Helsinki, Finland. Esa studied art and music during his education at a Steiner School in Helsinki, before continuing his musical studies at the Pop Jazz Konservatorio in Helsinki. 

Esa has made sets, props, video installations, and artworks for events and music festivals in Europe, before moving to Perth in 2000. 

After taking a break from making art, Esa joined DADAA in 2021 where he resumed his creative practise, developing his painting and electronic music skills and incorporating ceramics and sculpture as well. 

Esa’s work is often psychedelic in theme. He is fascinated by the universe, energy, frequencies; fractals and the quantum realm. Esa also draws on spiritual and metaphysical themes in his work, his paintings often having a philosophical undercurrent.
