DADAA offers Tactile Tours at Sculpture at Bathers

DADAA will be running Tactile Tours for people who are blind or vision-impaired at the popular Sculpture at Bathers and Sculpture by the Sea events. The two events are part of a year-long program of Audio Description and Tactile Tours that DADAA runs across the Perth metropolitan area to increase access to cultural activity for people with disability. Our Sculpture at Bathers and Sculpture by the Sea tours run in early March and bookings are essential. Please visit the exhibitions pages in the What’s On section of our website for details.

Nexus Arts Grants for young people now open

Young artists with disability between the ages of 16 and 25 are invited to apply for a 2017 Nexus Arts Grant. The grant round closes on 12 April. Nexus is a mentorship program for young artists between the ages of 16 and 25 wanting to embark on or develop their arts career with a grant of either $2000, $5000 or $10,000. The program pairs young artists with experienced mentors to develop their own unique talents and projects. The project is supported by the Disability Services Commission and is open to Western Australian artists only.
