Australia Council for the Arts

Australia Council for the Arts funds DADAA through its Community Partnerships program. This program supports CACD organisations in specific areas, including regional Australia, disability, young people, cultural diversity, emerging communities, Indigenous communities and specific social and cultural areas requiring focused attention. Under the Australia Council's funding scheme, DADAA is one of 11 Key Producer organisations, recognised as playing a leading national role in community arts and cultural development. Funding enables DADAA to staff, coordinate and manage its core Production programs annually.

Funding from the Australia Council supports a number of strategic DADAA initiatives, including the Disseminate project and the 4th Annual Arts and Health Conference, being hosted in-part in 2012 by DADAA and held in Fremantle in November.
