ARTIST SHOWCASE AT MEETING PLACE 2017

DADAA is delighted to be partnering with PIAF to support Arts Access Australia (AAA) in holding Meeting Place 2017 in Perth in March. Meeting Place is AAA’s flagship event. The national platform facilitates learning, discussion and debate on issues impacting artists, arts workers and leaders with disability and those with an interest in the sector.

As part of Meeting Place 2017, DADAA and AAA will be showcasing high-quality multi-media work by artists with disability. All art forms will be accepted. The closing date for submissions is 27 January 2017. Late submissions will not be accepted.

Before submitting your work, please make sure it meets the following requirements:

  • Can be submitted by E-mail (we cannot accept submissions via post)
  • Has audio description and captioning or if not, you will need to provide a transcript of any dialogue and a written description of your work.
  • Is in a high-quality format suitable for public showing.
  • Is your own work, or if you are representing a group, you have permission to submit the work on their behalf.

If you can meet these requirements, please send your submission, which should include a short biography and artist statement, to simone@dadaa.org.au. Please include your name and telephone number so we can contact you to discuss if needed. You will be notified as to whether your submission will be included.
