ACCESSIBILITY

VENUE AUDITS

DADAA is Western Australia’s leading arts and disability hub and is able to assist arts organisations in reviewing their venues and buildings for accessibility.  These audits cover access needs across a spectrum of disabilities and can assist organisations in ensuring that all clients and audiences have physical access, feel welcomed in a space or business and are able to participate in activities. Venue audits can be combined with staff training in disability awareness.

DAIP REVIEWS

DADAA can assist arts organisations in developing, implementing, monitoring or reviewing their Disability And Inclusion Plans (DAIPs). DADAA has delivered national training programs in DAIP development and has conducted DAIP reviews of major arts organisations in Western Australia. We are able to assist local governments, small-to-medium arts organisations, and large institutions.

EVALUATING ARTS PROGRAMS

With more than ten years in evaluating the impacts of arts programs for people with disability and mental health issues, DADAA has a well-established program aimed at supporting the community arts and cultural development sector to better understand and enhance their programming.

We have established evaluation frameworks designed to capture the complexity of community and collaborative arts in social settings. Please review the Publications page of this website for some of our previous work.
